We currently have the following opportunity available:
Description ORACLE DEVELOPER
* Provide Oracle technical support for Finance, Human Resources and Payroll departments. Responsible for production support and application enhancements for small and large projects.
* Responsible for providing day to day production support and troubleshooting problems on interfacing protocols/methods including TCP, FTP, SMTP, JDBC, JMS, JCA, SOAP, HTTP and HTTPS.
* Responsible for exception handling mechanisms in an Oracle Application environment and extending Oracle functionality for customizations.
* Participate in Oracle design and documentation of technical specifications, and effectively translate business needs/requirements into technical designs.
* Work on a technical team and project team environment requiring significant collaboration and coordination.
* Keep Technical Leads and Project Managers informed of production updates and project status.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
* 5 + years of prior programming experience and 5 + years experience with Oracle e-Business Suite. (11 or 12)
* Prior Oracle Payroll/Benefits experience a must.
* Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment and be able to adapt to changing needs of the business.
* Experience with Oracle Workflows, Reporting and Extensions. OAF experience a plus.
* Prior experience with SOA a plus. Ability to code integrations and debug in SOA a plus.
* Experience with standards for SOX compliance and SDLC methodology.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels within an organization.
* Excellent problem solving, technical and analytical skills.
* Prior experience with Prince2 a plus.
